Between 1936 and 1939, the Spanish working class built the greatest experiment in self-managed collectivization of a modern economy. At the same time, a fascist army well trained, armed and financed by Italy and Germany, waged a war against the Spanish Republic, which in turn was deeply divided for political and revolutionary reasons. He has a master's degree from the Integrative Composition, Improvisation and Technology program at the University of California at Irvine, where he is currently finishing his doctoral thesis and composing a larger musical work focusing on the Hudson River and its bidirectional flow as a representation of time. Event HorizonPresentStackless, Electronic Memory and KaneloggiaHypothesis The Event Horizon concert cycle takes place at The Rotunda and includes electronic, avant-garde and experimental music, together with the work of live video projection artists. They welcome artists from all disciplines.

This event will be an open dialogue between attendees and the moderator; a judgement-free zone to explore innovative approaches to creative freedom. Poet-Tree En Motion returns on May 24 to The Rotunda with multidisciplinary artistic and cultural presentations. All Poet-Tree En Motion events (which are now 16 years old) receive active participation from the public; whether it's dancing, moving in healing meditation or participating in call-and-response songs. The Poet-Tree En Motion is supported by scholarships from the University of Pennsylvania; donations are suggested to benefit the Lakota People's Law Project and Survival International.

Lyrical poet Ethelbert Miller will perform two interactive poems; Gabrielle de Burke (stage name Plum Dragoness) will perform theatrical dance combined with spoken poetry and meditation in motion; Zara Tagnac is a Jamaican-American poet who writes mainly in styles of magical realism; Xande Cruz is a percussionist who will perform worldwide fusion music; Ambra Renee is a fiery flow artist who will blow your mind with her sexy skills as a fan of fire; Bryce Adams is a professional breakdance dancer who will dazzle during the Fire Arts performance; Angi Vita is an artist who will present an impressive original work; DAFNA is a trained ballet dancer who also performs with fire fans; Line El Dirini is a hippie-punk musician who transmits their message through an instinctive guitar; Dafna Cohen (a.k.a DAFNA) is a trained ballet dancer who has found her way back to dance through hoola hoops.
